The casino sits directly off the hotel lobby on Church Lane, a short walk from the Lake Wakatipu waterfront. It is a compact floor rather than a barn — a room you can cross in a dozen steps, with a bar along one wall and a small stage that carries live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Most nights it is still going well after the rest of the lane has closed.
The floor holds slot machines and table games including blackjack, roulette and poker. The floor opens at 18:00 daily and runs until late. Dress code is smart casual. Entry is complimentary for hotel guests and visitors alike, and there is no membership to join.
If you have never played before, say so at the door. Our dealers will run through the rules of a table with you before you sit down, and minimum stakes at most tables start low enough to learn on.

THE CASINO BAR
A full bar runs the length of the room, serving Central Otago wine, local beer and cocktails until closing. Live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Entry to the casino is restricted to persons aged 20 and over. Photo ID is checked at the door in accordance with the Gambling Act 2003 — every night, without exception.
